The Patriots are probably the last team the winless Bills want to face this week. Unfortunately, they're scheduled to travel to Foxboro on Sunday. Expect Buffalo to take their lumps from the Super Bowl favorites. The Bills don't appear to have a single favorable match-up on either side of the football - a testament to the extraordinary depth of the Patriots. Dick Jauron could have Bill Belichick's entire espionage unit on his side and the Bills would still lose this game by 30. The Pick: New England
Giants @ Redskins
The reeling Giants open NFC East play this Sunday when they travel to Washington to take on the Redskins. The Redskins will use a one-two punch of Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts at running back to wear down the Giants' weak run defense. The Giants' offense will rely heavily on quarterback Eli Manning. Look for him to throw to Plaxico Burress early and often - the Pro Bowl wideout already has four touchdown catches on the year. In the end, though, New York won't have enough offensive firepower to compensate for their sub-par defensive unit. The Pick: Washington
Dolphins @ Jets
The Jets lost to Baltimore last weekend, making them the third winless football team representing the Empire State. They return home to the Meadowlands to face an equally inept Dolphins team led by first-year coach Cam Cameron. A match-up to watch for in this game will be rookie Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis against Dolphins wideout Chris Chambers. Revis will have his hands full all game covering Miami's supremely talented deep threat. The Jets will try to establish the ground game to take some pressure off of second-year quarterback Kellen Clemens, and when all is said and done, expect Clemens to take home his first career victory. Cowboys @ Bears
The game of the week pits the undefeated Cowboys against the 1-1 Bears in a battle of two NFC powerhouses. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo has gotten off to a torrid start, throwing six touchdowns in the season's first two games. The game figures to be a classic battle between the high-flying Cowboys offense and the hard-hitting Bears defense. The Cowboys have already scored 82 points this year, tops in the NFL. The Chicago defense, led by perennial Pro Bowl linebacker Brian Urlacher, has allowed just 24 points this season. The Cowboys will end up winning a close game, establishing themselves as the team to beat in the NFC. The Pick: Dallas

The greatest thing about the Bills playing the Pats is that the smallest accomplishment by the Bills will seem like a great thing. We'll probably be celebrating first downs and field goals this Sunday. (Continued…)
