Love of God drives an austere existence for monks

The recently established Astronomy Club prides itself on making the beauty and intrigue of the sky available to every student at Geneseo. Astronomy Club is an event-based group, without weekly meetings, that was started about two years ago. Junior Pedro Rodriguez serves as the club's webmaster and "sky-eye" and was also one of the founding members of the club.

From beyond the borders: Hawthorne brings Jamaican warmth to campus

Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, energetic and cheery junior Kerisha Hawthorne fills Geneseo's frigid climate with a little warmth from home everyday. For this English and psychology double major, the stars were not always aligned for Hawthorne to attend Geneseo.
