The Geneseo Chinese Culture Club's 15th annual China Night, also known as The Shang-over, allowed Geneseo students and faculty to experience the unique culture, tradition and cuisine of China. Upon entering the Union Ballroom, guests were greeted with an elegantly decorated dining room.
Freshman education and psychology double-major Jen Adams is already carving her niche here at Geneseo. As a member of the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, Adams formulated, and made possible, the idea of feeding at least 58 poor families in the Geneseo area.
On Dec. 4, the Village Park and Main Street of Geneseo will be brimming with holiday cheer and joy when the 30th annual ChristmaSing takes place. The procession will begin in Village Park at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the trees surrounding the historic log cabin.
After living in the United States for 15 years, sophomore biology major You Lin said he still looks back fondly on the childhood he spent in the Fujian province of China. Lin spent the first five years of his life in the Chinese countryside near the city of Fuzhou.
