Spring headliners reject concert decency

AAR should have known where they were and the audience to which they were playing.

By Staff Editorial

The All-American Rejects came to Geneseo on Saturday and though their hits were popular with our crowd when we were thirteen, they put on a provocative and entertaining show.

Cuban embargo lose/lose

The embargo has outlived its purpose; it' s time it was done away with, for the good of Cuba, cigar smokers and baseball teams.

By Alex Berbeirch

During his campaign, Barack Obama made a promise - to open open up channels with Cuba - that must have flown under the radar of Americans who were neither hanging their hat in Florida nor part of the Cuban-American population. By Taimur Gibson

In response to a question taken at a town hall meeting regarding marijuana legalization, President Barack Obama was quick to say, "No, I don't think that [legalization] is a good strategy to grow our economy." Many people were disappointed by his reaction, as Obama did not offer any counter-arguments and completely ignored the potential medical and social benefits of ending the prohibition on marijuana.
