Smiling behind an iconic white beard that swirls around his face like cotton candy, Buzzo approaches each customer with a husky, soft-spoken friendliness, and his store is as accommodating as his personality.

Alumnus David Terry '88 has found his niche in the environment as vice president of Geotechnical Engineers, Inc., a prominent environmental consulting firm that works with clients across the United States. A former geology major, Terry devoted most of his attention to his studies during college.

Ballroom forum showcases culture

The Black Student Union sponsored a multicultural Greek forum on Friday in which ethnicity-based sororities and fraternities advertised their organizations and spread awareness of multicultural Greek life. In the College Union Ballroom, a wide variety of groups, including organizations based on Latino, Asian, Black and Hispanic cultures, introduced themselves and explained their goals.

GSTV fills the day with 24-hour programming

Geneseo Student Television is having a technological revolution this semester. The organization has acquired a server system that will allow the station to broadcast programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week. "This is a big change for us," said senior Cory Alverson, the general manager of GSTV.

Students explore overseas options

Geneseo professors want to kick their students out of the country - preferably for spring break, a month in summer, a semester or even an entire year. Such encouragement to leave the States was apparent at the annual Study Abroad Fair, which took place Wednesday afternoon in the Union Ballroom and lobby.
